Our Engineering Department utilizes the most up-to-date computer aided design and manufacturing equipment. Layouts, designs and shop drawings are generated using:

  • AutoDesk Inventor – 2017 Integrate 2D drawings and 3D data into single digital model, creating a virtual representation of the final product to validate the form, fit, and function of the product before it is built.
  • AutoCad – 2017 Design & Engineering Software
  • SolidWorks – 2017 3D Solid Modeling, create and manage large designs and work in either detailed or simplified models.

3D Laser Scanning

Save time and Money with High-Definition 3D laser scanning technology

3D Laser Scanning is a non-contact, non-destructive technology that digitally captures the shape of physical objects using a line of laser light. 3D laser scanners create “point clouds” of data from the surface of an object. In other words, 3D laser scanning is a way to capture a physical object’s exact size and shape into the computer world as a digital 3-dimensional representation.

3D laser scanners measure fine details and capture free-form shapes to quickly generate highly accurate point clouds. 3D laser scanning is ideally suited to the measurement and inspection of contoured surfaces and complex geometries which require massive amounts of data for their accurate description and where doing this is impractical with the use of traditional measurement methods or a touch probe.

Leica ScanStation P40 / P30 – High-Definition 3D Laser Scanning Solution

Capture 3D geometry, creating an as-built representation of large industry complex, or generating 3D data for integration into building information Modeling (BIM). Capture scan data in the field, register multiple scans together, accurately and algorithmically model pipes and structural steel, as well as create survey points.

Leica BLK360 Imaging Scanner

3D scanner provides the highest accuracy and offers both imaging and point cloud collection. Reality capture technology for architecture, engineering and construction firms that need a one-step process to collect data. Data is captured and sent to Autodesk Recap 360 Pro. Work efficiently with large point clouds directly using AutoCAD, Revit or Navisworks tools and commands. CloudWorx adds simple tools for viewing and working with slices of point cloud data to speed up drawing and model creation.
